From the moment you meet him, you will always know him as “Johnny.” His focus and energy level is instantly apparent, as is his open, honest nature helping knock down any nerves in the first meeting. The founder and president of GPS, he devotes his time to managing the agency, training producers and speaking at live events. He’s been featured on local radio station KJNA and the Kansas City Life Annual Report. He also helped author the “Federal Retirement Consultant Certification Course.”
For more than four decades, Johnny has been helping state employees, public educators and federal employees with their retirement benefits. He and his team travel nationally to provide educational seminars on benefits. The complexities of government benefits can be a challenge, and Johnny aims to make sure that he and his team know how to best assist their clients. Johnny, a federal retirement consultant, is able to talk about federal benefits programs available to employees and family members — both active and retired.
Inspired by his older sister, Johnny began his financial service career in 1976 and hasn’t looked back. Together with his wife, Nelda, he created Rosier Benefits and now Goal Planning Strategies to serve the community in both the public and private sectors. After 25 years working alongside each other, Nelda passed away July 16, 2021. Johnny continues his company and client service in her honor. Johnny has five children, and his son-in-law Shane Dalmado is a financial advisor on the GPS team. If you need a spot to stay in Paris, Johnny’s son Kevin lives there, and owns a local AirBnB!
When he’s away from the office, Johnny enjoys golf, fishing, travel, hunting and volunteering at his local Methodist church.
