David partners with Goal Planning Strategies to help provide tax planning strategies and service on federal and state employee pension plans. He works with clients to understand the tax implications of various retirement plans and Social Security. He is also a certified federal retirement consultant with past experience as a plan administrator and enjoys helping people understand their plans and saving strategies. The goal for David’s clients is to make their money last during retirement.

David studied business administration and accounting at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. Since then he has had financial service roles in accounting, tax preparation, auditing and financial planning.

When David is away from the office, it’s all about traveling to see the grandchildren for him and his wife, Janene. They have three children, four grandchildren and a spoiled goldendoodle named Jazz. David has lived in Lafayette for 20 years and is a big fan of LSU football. He’s also a member of a local bass club and casts the line every chance he gets.
