At the age of 50, Deedra found herself retired from education but not quite ready to leave the workforce altogether. A friend soon invited her to work with their financial team, and she found a great fit and new career calling. Deedra helps educate clients on retirement opportunities available at various stages of employment, provides written retirement plans, and creates client reports that outline comprehensive overviews of finances.

“As a former educator, I feel my area of expertise is state employees benefit education,” says Deedra. “I have lived through the decisions facing state employees during the retirement process and try to help others make informed decisions.”

Deedra is married to her husband of 20+ years, Heath, and they have three grown children. One of her favorite things in life is spoiling her three grandchildren and a Yorkie named Gracie Jayne. Deedra is back in her hometown of Jena after living in Arkansas for the past 10 years. She loves a wide array of sporting activities including football and rodeo. She also enjoys traveling, taking at least one cruise every year.
